Reporting directly to the Production Engineer, the selected candidate will be responsible for the operation of machinery related to sheet metal fabrications including bending, laser cutting and powder painting equipment.
Responsibilities
∙ Set-up, load tools and adjust CNC Press Brakes as per procedures and instructions.
∙ Operate CNC Press Brakes by following sequence on program.
∙ Measure and inspect components to the relevant drawings.
∙ Compile manufacturing records on computerised systems.
∙ Maintain a clean and organized working environment and wear personal protective equipment.
Requirements
∙ Good verbal and written skills in the English language.
∙ Trade school certificates/diplomas (MQF level 3), or MQF level 2 with at least 2 years’ experience in the operation of CNC press brakes.
∙ Capable of reading and interpreting technical drawings. (Training will be provided.)
∙ Diligent, self-motivated and with good attention to detail.
∙ Capable of following standard operating procedures and able to work cautiously and safely.
∙ Computer literate.
